Switching Over to WordPress...

I've been blogging (admittedly not so frequently) through the same site I used when I was in college. Just a random blog, meant to showcase my inner musings and terrible poetry, mostly for myself. It worked great for all of that, however, it doesn't look like it's going to work well enough for my Ruby July purposes. Before I get too far into the process of this, I'm just going to switch to WordPress and be done with the old site. I'm going to transfer over my earlier posts (as soon as I can actually access the site again...grumble), so everything will be right here. I'm really looking forward to seeing what WordPress has to offer, and I'm hoping to expand my knowledge with this blogging platform. I've heard good things, and I like the versatility and the room for growth that it offers. While things are still a little slow on the home front, I'm going to get things going little by little. As usual, I have a list of things I'd like to get accomplished, and I'll be checking things off as I can. Gotta take action to see positive changes, so I'm doing what I can! I'm (once again) starting to refocus on Ruby July and improving my own design skill-set, so I can finally do what I want to do, and be who I want to be. I'm done with drifting, and I'm tired of being lazy and unmotivated. It's still a struggle, as you can probably tell by the constant posting about the same thing, ha! Whoops! We'll see how all of that goes, but I'm still looking towards the future and trying to keep positive. I see some people around me starting to make great changes in their lives, and I'm looking to finally do the same. Time to get the ball rolling and make the rest of my life something to be proud of. Here we go!
